This is the subwoofer component of my home hi-fi. I dabbled with car audio in my teens but never anything this deep and DIY. This site has been a place about surfing hardware but as I’ve followed my curiosity into sound I appreciate how the domains of surfing and music and the instruments that support their expression are related. 

In a future post I’ll share more about the complete system which couples this woofer with two two-way bass reflex speakers powered by the same JBL 328C coaxial driver that OJAS famously adapted for his bookshelf speaker design. Stay tuned for that.
