Trying a different concave here. Still fundamentally a single transitioning to double, but the single is more like a big channel. Crosswise the contour is quite flat until it breaks downward late, then flattens again before the rail tuck. Lengthwise the channel edge follows the rail curve until the wide point where it straightens until exiting at the fins. The nose and tail templates are derived from the US Blanks EA that this board was carved from. Echoes Daniel Thomson’s blunt nose designs, though his are much shorter.

Delicate design. If the rocker, rails and foil weren‘t right, or if the channel was too extreme, this could have gone badly as long channels and edges tend to be unforgiving. But this board felt good in chest high bowly beachbreak and would likely be more successful in waves where committed lines on a vertical face are the goal. Has good traction and sense of direction.
